It’s hockey time in Omaha

Ready for a Hamms tallboy or three and the opportunity to direct some verbiage at my least favorite USHL team–Waterloo. Here’s to hoping they got into town too late to hold their traditional referee potluck dinner so we get the calls this time around.

How pumped up am I for live hockey tonight?  I watched the season home opener against Fargo on On Demand already this morning. Here’s to another shut out win against the Farce tonight.

There’s no Lancers game to attend tonight? Certainly feels like there should be. How the hell I get through the offseason is beyond me.

It’s hockey time in Ralston tonight! A double dose of live hockey this weekend. Not sure how I’m going to make it through the next seven hours at work.

The USHL teams released their final rosters/protected lists[1] today! Time to start working on the game face and stretch out the vocal cords. Seriously ready for some puck. McGroarty takes the reins

Wow. Out of the blue (heh). Here’s to hoping McGroarty keeps the Stars edgy. Watched his last season in Omaha and, well, meh is about all I can say about that effort. Johnson leaves for health/personal reasons; McGroarty steps in
