I’m going through the 2+ years of photos and videos I finally offloaded from my phone and came across this one from May 27 of this year. Not sure why I took the picture. I guess I was demonstrating that our toaster’s production capacity does not scale well and we might experience shortages under load.

Definitely, you should upgrade before the crisis hits.
2 years of photos, is your phone noticeably lighter?
I think maybe it shows I really don’t need the biggest drive offered for a given model after all.
Bollocks. Just means that you’d need to clean out your pics more often.
Of course, you get your impending-toast-crisis reminders sooner too.
Don’t tell Dad….. He just bought a fresh loaf and jar of jelly for the night :-)
Om nom nom, where’s he live, again?
OMG! His hands will be warm though.
Stocking cap indoors included!
Well, he meets the qualifications to eat dinner here. BYOB PB&J
Lincoln, but you’ll have to be quick. He’s a plate detoaster extraordinaire.
Don’t laugh. I’m wearing a stocking cap indoors presently.
So am I, but like you, I’m stymied by throughput problems.
Likewise, it’s dinner time :)
We cashed in a token at the China Buffet in Bellevue. No need for food for the next 18 hours i think.
You say that now…
True. Thoughts of toast are now running through my head. I think I have an ancient jar of marmite around here too.
For the longest time we had our grubby hands on Marcie’s toaster because Tyler left it here after one “family breakfast” years ago. That sucker could do four slices at a time.
Technology, making lives better.
Hell…we’ve got a gas stove. We could conceivably do four at a time on that and another two in the toaster proper if it came down to it.
You could do more on the car motors, but I don’t think the Prius is going to make much toast in an emergency.
True. Happy has a fourbanger and heats up nicely. I suppose if we pushed the amps on the seat/back warmers we could really get a whole loaf done in short order.
